Leela Kumari: Her age is 28 and she belongs to Pondicherry and her husband’s name is Vignesh he is working in a private company in Uragadam Chennai. She had four years old elder son and now she is carrying 8 months baby. She got affected by an advanced skin disease called atypical Hemolytic Uremic syndrome and she has been admitted to Pondicherry JIPMER Hospital. Due to this disease, her body’s blood circulation system is not functioning well and she has been on dialysis with 2 units of blood every week.
Doctors said she is in urgent need of an Injection called Eculizumab which is the only drug that saves her life from danger. She needs 900mg of injection eculizumab for 4 weeks continuously. The initial cost of the treatment would be 24 lakhs. (We attached the cost evidence in the Medical records column) This drug is not available in India and it has to bring it from Europe.
